Wood floors are a character feature to any home, they are beautiful and can they take on many different styles by changing the stain and finish.  On of the best attributes of wood floors is their strong and durable nature which can be seen in how they withstand the test of time.  What might appear to be an old floor that needs to be replaced can look new again after being sanded and refinished.  Many stains or scratches can be sanded out, if the wood is damaged beyond the surface the flooring can be patched without having to replace the entire floor.  If you have an older home and find authentic wood floors being covered by carpet many times these floors can be restored to their original character.  Please find photos of wood floors that have been repaired and refinished below.
